PROFESSIONAL Newborn Care Specialist Employment Contract
will have the following information:
This is an eight (8) page contract that includes Travel to a job and the Round-the-Clock job
1. CLIENT AND NCS INFORMATION - includes address, phone, email - all of the clients contact information.
2. JOB DATE - a start date that falls between 2 dates (for the convenience of the client)
3. RETAINER – Client agrees to a deposit of ___% to be paid to the NCS before acceptance of contract by NCS
4. CANCELLATIONS
NCS does not report at the agreed time
NCS leaves due to disrespectful behavior by client
NCS leaves without cause
Client changes their mind without cause
Client cancels contract early
NCS engages in illegal, or abusive conduct
NCS may terminate contract for issues falsified or if she feels uncomfortable for any reason.
Loss of pregnancy or adoption clause
If baby comes home later than contracted date and NCS is no longer able to care for baby.

Using a daily log
NCS is not an RN
NCS is considered on duty when she is at clients home
NCS will sleep on the job
NCS will give clients 2 weeks notice for time off when possible.
NCS will be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses
NCS will not put children's life in jeopardy if she feels pets are endangering child
NCS is responsible for her own taxes
Travel arrangements are made in this section – that is travel as in them going on vacation and taking you or you taking that time off with pay
NCS does not do sibling or pet care at night
NCS does not do household duties
NCS will keep nursery picked up
11. REQUIREMENTS FOR A TRAVELING JOB
Minimum of _____week/s stay. (7 - 12 hour shifts) Minimum of a _____hour week.
Use of the car.
A private room, separate bedroom from the child, or children with a private bath
A round trip airline ticket with an open end
Ability to get on- line and an in - the- bedroom TV while on the premises.
Client providing room and board for the Newborn Care Specialist for the duration of her employment.
12. REQUIREMENTS FOR A 24 HOUR JOB
Included in a 24/7 job the client will provide the Newborn Care Specialist with: Bed, television, bath linens, Internet access, room and board.
A four hour stretch of uninterrupted rest per day. The Newborn Care Specialist will have at least one four hour stretch per day where no childcare duties of any kind will be required.
Errands done during her stay using her car to run these errands is ___¢ per mile.
The hours for this contract not to be extended past the agreed upon ending date.
The total hours for this job are to be fulfilled during the agreed upon days.
13. REFERENCE LETTER
Upon successful completion of the job the client agrees to provide a letter of recommendation to the Newborn Care Specialist.

PROFESSIONAL Nanny Contract
will include the following information:

This is a six (6) page contract that is complete, covering all Nanny/Client issues
1. NANNY AND CLIENT INFORMATION - Name, address, email, home and cell phone of client
2. JOB DATE - This is a year contract. Can be extended. All dates explained.
3. RETAINER - The Employer agrees to pay a retainer at the time of booking.
4. CANCELLATION CLAUSES:
a. If the Nanny does not report to the home of the Employer on the agreed – upon start date without any explanation.
b. Nanny leaves the position due to disrespectful treatment by the Employer or non compliance by the employer to the agreed upon terms......
c. Nanny leaves the position without cause......
d. Employer simply changes their mind, for any reason prior to the scheduled start of the contract...
e. Employer wishes to cancel the contract early.....
f. Nanny engages in illegal, neglectful or abusive conduct....
g. Contract is based on a trial period.
h. 30 days’ notice clause for Nanny not fulfilling contract.
4. NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES
a. a. Meals, household tasks, laundry, cleaning or any other duty will be expressly written out so there are no misunderstandings.

c. c. Discipline – what is acceptable to parents
5. SALARY AND HOURLY CONSIDERATIONS
a. Exact days/hours and times you will be working. This also will indicate the hourly compensation
b. b. Hours may be added to this contract but hours may not be deleted without financial compensation Nanny will be paid for any dadays not worked that are agreed upon in this contract.

6. COMMUNICATION -Communication between the Nanny and Client regarding the child's routine, or other matters discussed
7. GENERAL ISSUES
a. Use a Medicine Child Care log when administering medication
b. Paid vacation for every year she is with the family. If the parents take more time for vacation per year than the Nanny has acquired, the Nanny will be compensated for that time off at her regular weekly salary.
c. 3 unpaid personal days a year.
d. Reimbursement by the Parents for all reasonable expenses.
e. If there are animals in the house that the Nanny ‘feels’ are jeopardizing the safety or welfare of the child/children.....
f. Neglect or child endangerment by the parents.....
g. Vacation with family not required, however, her salary will be paid during this time
h. Taxes options are defined and agreed upon.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY - Used for high profile as well as the general client.
9. REFERENCE LETTER - Upon successful completion of the job the client agrees to provide a letter of recommendation to the Newborn Care Specialist.
